Microbotox can be done to the neck and chest area to diminish wrinkles and fine lines. Microbotox uses very small, precise amounts of superficial Botox in lots of injection sites. This microbotox amount will modify the skin and not the muscle which causes decreased wrinkles. You will still move like before after microbotox injections so it’s different than Botox of the face.
Microbotox injections are not new and our injection expert and Nurse Practitioner, Nadia Gutierrez, has been doing microbotox around the eyes and mouth for a long time. The microbotox injection in the neck and chest area are an advanced way to treat wrinkles. Microbotox of the chest or neck results typically will last about 4-6 months, unlike microbotox in the eye area. The dosage for the microbotox in the neck or chest is larger so the results will last longer.
Microbotox has no downtime but you can have some pinpricks after treatment that should diminish quickly. The area of treatment with microbotox will be numbed with a cream which makes these little injections totally tolerable. Microbotox of the chest or neck can require 50 units of botox. However, every patient is different and a consultation with our medical team is required to determine the exact number of units required.
